My Mission

As a Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Advisor, my mission is to help you achieve financial security for your family or business. I will work with you to help identify your financial goals, suggest a plan of action to help you reach those goals, and show you ways to implement them.


 

Stephen Whittemore, CFP®, CLU®, ChFC®, CLTC, CASL® volunteers his time on the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving’s Professional Advisory Committee.  Established in 1993, the Professional Advisory Committee provides valuable feedback to Hartford Foundation staff on philanthropic strategies, communications efforts, and community reactions and attitudes. The committee also advises the Foundation on trends, and opportunities to engage individuals and families in the region’s charitable community.

Steve has earned another professional designation -
RICP® Retirement Income Certified Professional

The Retirement Income Certified Professional (RICP®) advanced designation focuses on transitioning from asset accumulation to creating a sustainable livelihood for our clients in retirement.

RICP® planning offers relevant solutions to modern retirement income planning scenarios.  In response to the US Department of Labor's new fiduciary rule, RICP® planning reflects the changing landscape of the financial services environment.

To receive the RICP® designation, Steve agrees to comply with The American College Code of Ethics and Procedures.
